Slow Cooked Venison

Ingredients

Original recipe makes 4 servings
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil

  • 1/2onion, diced

  • 2 teaspoonsminced garlic

  • 1 poundboneless venison roast

  • 1/2 cupketchup

  • 1/4 cupWorcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cupsoy sauce

  • 1/4 cupchile-garlic sauce

  • 1/4 teaspoonliquid smoke

  • 1/3 cupwater

  • 2 teaspoonssalt

  • 1 tablespoon pepper

    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 2 more minutes until softene
    • Place venison roast into a slow cooker, and sprinkle with onion mixture. Stir together  ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, chile-garlic sauce, water, salt, and pepper. Pour over the venison.
    • Cover and cook on Low until tender and no longer pink, 4 to 5 hours
